On Saturday, April 22nd the Davis Phinney Foundation, in conjunction with the locally
based Help for Parkinson’s organization will be hosting our first Healthy Parkinson’s
Communities event. What sets this event apart is it is solely focused on what we can do
to live our best possible life with the disease.
Join us for a day of information and connection to learn about living well with
Parkinson’s. You will be alongside others in your community who want to do the same.
This free event will feature an open-house resource fair filled with local and national
resources, as well as representation from organizations committed to helping people
live well. Plus, don’t miss a presentation from your local Parkinson’s advocates about
resources that will help you better understand Parkinson’s, why it’s essential to take a
holistic approach to living well, and how to access resources in your area.
The Living Well with Parkinson’s in the Capital Region Event Starts at 9:00 am at
the Capital District YMCA, 1 Wall Street, Clifton Park, NY 12065, and is free and open
to the public. Details and registration for this event can be found
Hope to see you there!
Be Well,
Help for Parkinson’s
