Rally in support of legislation that would ban the use of paraquat

The Michael J. Fox Foundation
The Michael J. Fox Foundation would like to invite you to a rally in support of legislation that would ban the use of paraquat - a toxic herbicide linked to Parkinson's disease - in New York State.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation and Parkinson’s advocates have long called for the national ban of paraquat, as the link between paraquat and Parkinson’s disease has been known for decades. More than 70 countries — including the European Union and China — have already banned paraquat, yet it remains in use in the U.S.
In order to get this bill across the finish line, we need to make our voices heard. This rally will bring supporters together to deliver a clear message to lawmakers: New York can protect public health by banning paraquat.
Join us at the New York State Capitol in Albany on Wednesday, May 13 to urge lawmakers to ban paraquat.
