Dr. Gilbert Hosts: The Connection Between Parkinson’s & Alzheimer’s
Live Broadcast: Thursday, May 23
1 pm ET
Parkinson’s disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer’s disease (AD). AD and PD are distinct diseases, but they share some similarities. To help clarify both the differences and overlaps between the two diseases, join us on Thursday, May 23, as we talk with Dr. Claire Sexton, Senior Director of Scientific Programs & Outreach at the Alzheimer’s Association.
Join us and you’ll learn:
The similarities and differences between the pathology of AD and PD
The differences between the cognitive challenges of AD and those of PD
The new treatments available for AD and their relevance to PD
If it’s possible for someone to have both diseases
Dr. Sexton will also answer your questions LIVE during the program, so register today to reserve your spot!
