About Us
Help for Parkinson’s is a non-profit organization to help inspire and support our community. We work to change how people live with Parkinson’s. It is our desire to mobilize the energy within the Parkinson’s community and give Parkinson’s a seat at the table when it comes to addressing and being addressed by public health initiatives.

  • Encourage and support data-informed initiatives aimed at increasing access to and engagement with resources that improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson’s at a grassroots level.

  • Increase awareness and health literacy about Parkinson’s.

  • Educating various organizations (i.e., YMCA’s, Senior Centers, Parkinson’s Support Groups) about the importance of Wellness, particularly when dealing with the progressive debilitating effects of Parkinson’s Disease.

  • Increase exercise and nutrition programs in the Greater Capital Region by providing funding to make this happen.
