Hope Soars Gala

Dear Friends,

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, we invite you to the Hope Soars Gala to benefit Parkinson's research at the Albany Medical Center and Help for Parkinson’s, an organization dedicated to helping those living with Parkinson's lead their best possible lives. The event will be held at the Colonie Golf and Country Club, and complimentary valet parking will be provided.

The fun begins at 6:00 p.m. with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, followed by dinner, dancing, a silent auction, and much more. You can register by clicking this link: https://www.helpforpd.org/gala2025.

The Gala is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with others in our Parkinson's community—folks living with Parkinson's, care partners, doctors, and researchers will all be there. It's a chance to celebrate another year of living our best possible lives with the disease. Don’t miss this evening of good friends, good food, and dancing!

This year's theme is "A Better Tomorrow – Live Well with Parkinson’s Disease." We will be celebrating the opening of the new Parkinson’s Center on Wolf Road, and Toni Carroll, Executive Director at the Capital District YMCA, will share the exciting news with us.

Help for Parkinson’s is 100% donor-supported, and your donations above the ticket price are essential for keeping our programs funded and introducing new ones. Help for Parkinson’s is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and your donation above the $150 ticket price is tax-deductible within the guidelines of tax laws.

Last year, the Hope Soars Gala raised over $24,000. We donated 50% ($12,000) to Parkinson's research at Albany Medical Center, and the remainder was directed to Help for Parkinson's programs, resources, and events.

Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Be well,

Mark Burek and Steve Hovey
